The 2022 International Summer School of the School of Mechanical, Electrical & Information Engineering (MEIE) was successfully concluded in August. The School of MEIE make full use of high quality education resources from the world-class universities, scientific research institutions, invited overseas teachers from the University of Southampton, Royal Melbourne University of Technology and other internationally renowned universities, offered 12 international courses taught all in full English, including academic frontier, professional knowledge, scientific research methods, cultural education, and other rich and colorful content. These courses focus on strategic prospective emerging disciplines, the latest research results and academic dynamics, helping students to improve professional quality and cross-cultural communication ability, and broadening the students' international vision, enhance international competitiveness.

Giving full play to the comprehensive advantages and characteristic disciplines, our college has cultivated a number of high-quality international courses to realize the connotation development of quality improvement. Since 2019, our college has provided high-quality International Summer School courses for four consecutive years, opening to all students, gived full play to the educational function of the summer school, improved the quality of talent training of Shandong University, and attracted many outstanding students to participate in the summer school.

The International Summer School has further deepened the connection between our college and the cooperative universities, enhanced exchanges and interactions in science research and education areas, and laid a foundation for deepening cooperation and exchanges.
